Ellen & Josephine -Copenhagen City Hall Wedding

Ellen and Josephine started their wedding day in their Copenhagen apartment, getting ready together before heading to Rådhuset.

Their ceremony at Copenhagen City Hall was small - just the two of them and their closest people - but the emotion in that room was anything but.

After they were married, we walked to Ørstedsparken where they opened champagne, cut into the mazapine cake Josephine's mom had baked. We walked in the park and gave them space to let themselves actually feel married.

The light was gentle that afternoon, and so was everything else - no rush, no performance, just two people who'd chosen each other.
