Franklin & Paulo -Copenhagen City Hall Wedding

Franklin and Paulo got ready at NH Collection Hotel on a November morning that should have been cold and gray. Instead, the sun broke through as if their wedding day had its own weather system.

Their Copenhagen City Hall ceremony brought together friends from France, Italy, and beyond - the kind of group where three languages mix naturally and no one minds.

After they signed the papers at Rådhuset, we headed to Oscar Cafe for traditional Danish open sandwiches and Prosecco.

The whole day had this easy warmth to it, the kind you only get when people who actually care about each other show up.
